Identifying the Negative

Sit down now and take the time to identify and write all of the negative thoughts, feelings and words you have about yourself.  You may only have a few.  That's fine.  You may have a lot, and you may be here for a while.  That's OK, too.  Even if you have to leave it and come back as more things occur to you, keep recording them.  As you do, try not to take these things to heart.  The hope is that in focusing on these negative thoughts you won't bring yourself down with negativity and bad feelings about yourself, but that you will begin to identify and learn to recognize all of the negative feelings that are bringing you down on a daily basis.  Remember you have to acknowledge it before you can begin to change it.
