The law of obedience simply states that we can only achieve success if we obey the universal laws.

Technically speaking, the laws cannot be broken.  The concept of a law as we know it on earth lends the idea that we will somehow be punished or undergo suffering should we choose to ignore or break the universal laws.  As human beings, we have been given free will and a discerning mind.  We may choose not to believe the laws and make no attempt to utilize them to our benefit.

The natural laws of the universe are impartial and they are not vengeful or spiteful.  If we encounter any suffering or unpleasantness along our path, it is only because we have not learned how to make our lives work for us in every way possible.  The laws are there for us to use to our benefit in shaping our lives to be whatever we wish. When we work with the laws, we are better equipped to shape the world we want.

The law of obedience can also be extended to the laws themselves.  The laws are always obedient to our thoughts and feelings.  They do not discriminate or judge.  They are in place to deliver what we ask for.  If we think of good things, the laws obediently work to deliver them.  If we fail to think good things, the laws are still obediently working to deliver our requests by way of what we think about, speak about and act upon.
